What’s included?
Five nights in our newly renovated country estate with private baths (Double occupancy) Five continental breakfasts, one lunch, and four dinners.  Fully escorted bicycling excursions, or the opportunity to ride on your own, with maps and instructions for each day's adventure. Round trip van transfers to and from Nevers train station, and van transfers for one evening out. Use of our touring bicycles plus helmets during your stay.

What's not included?
One night's dinner, all but one group lunch, transportation to and from Le Vieux Moulin (except the scheduled van pick-ups) Van support during rides (with the exception for emergencies),
Road bike upgrades. Golf, equestrian, barge fees, beverages (wine, spirits, soda, expresso), telephone and fax calls, laundry and personal items are also not included.

When do the tours begin?
Tours normally begin Tuesday afternoon and guest depart Sunday Morning. Shorter stays may begin throughout the week.

What time is check-in and check-out? Check-in is Tuesday afternoon at 4:00pm and check-out is at 9:00am Sunday morning to connect with a 9:58am train to Paris which arrives Paris at 11:55am.

How do we get there?
Most guest arrive by train. Our scheduled Tuesday van pickup is at 3:00pm for the arrival of train #5959 which departs the Gare de Lyon-Paris at 13:01pm. The return train is #5962.

What's the best time to come?
Bicycling is usually good throughout the season, however May and October will be cooler with the warmest period between mid-July and mid-August.

Do we have to bike every day?
This is each guest's decision. We have a tour scheduled for each day, however guests can ride on their own or do other activities.

What type of bicycle will we be riding? 
Included in the price of your tour you will ride a late model 24 speed hybrid bicycle from LaPierre Cycles or Gitane.  The bicycles are equipped with upright handlebars, a gel saddle and your choice of toe clips or regular pedals. The hybrid bicycles will also have a rear rack with bag for carrying extra water or goodies bought on tour.  We offer late model aluminum frame LaPierre Cycles road bikes as an upgrade for your tour.  These bikes are equipped with carbon fiber forks, 24 speed drive train with a triple ring crank.  If you wish, you are welcome to bring your own saddle and pedals to fit to our bicycles.  Our guides are also expert bicycle mechanics, and fit specialists, we will make sure you are very happy with your bike for your stay at Le Vieux Moulin.

What will we see?

What shall we bring?
For biking...bike padded pants, bike gloves, arm and leg warmers and outerwear in case of inclement weather. Casual clothes at the Moulin.

How do we sign up?
Fill out the registration form and send in a deposit of $400.00 Per person after deciding on dates and room type.  For the Air Tour package contact us at 800-368-4234 to confirm availabiliy and Paris dates.

Terms and Conditions:
Our Cancellation policy is as follows:

If written notice of cancellation is received in our office 60 days or more prior to the tour date, the cost of the tour, less the deposit, is refunded

If cancellation is received 30-59 days prior to the tour, 50% of the tour cost is refunded

If cancellation is recieved 29 days or less prior to the tour, no refund is offered

We Strongly recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance. If your bicycle tour is canceled by Le Vieux Moulin for any reason, you will be entitled to a full refund of your trip cost and/or deposit for your trip.

Refunds:
Deposits are non refundable. No partial refunds will be given for unused room nights, meals, sight-seeing trips or other arrangements for any reason whatsoever. Tour cost is quoted as a package and credits are not given for services not used.
